Kenya tree (Capnella sp.)

Characteristics:

• Species: Capnella sp. (soft coral)

• Coloration: Mostly beige to brownish, sometimes with a greenish shimmer

• Growth form: Tree-like, forms several “branches” with polyps

• Movement: Polyps open and close depending on current and light

• Propagation: Regularly produces small offshoots (“self-propagators”)

Care instructions:

• Lighting: Medium – grows reliably under both LED and T5/HQI

• Current: Light to moderate, ensures good polyp formation

• Placement: Middle to lower area in the reef structure

• Water values: Very tolerant to fluctuations – ideal for beginners

• Growth: Fast-growing, can form larger colonies
