Royal Nature Nitrate Professional Test

With the Royal Nature Nitrate Test you can measure in two steps with a powder and a liquid No3 in ranges of 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50.

Nitrate levels should not exceed 20 PPM in seawater and ideally remain below 10 PPM in reef tanks.

Nitrate levels can be determined using a fine-tuned color chart that provides nitrate concentration ranges from 0-50 PPM.

The professional Royal Nitrate test kit is designed to be easy to use and read and offers you 100 tests per kit.

Royal Nature has taken the time to make this kit not only affordable, but also easier to read and accurate. The biggest complaint with titration test kits is reading the color shift accurately. Since color variations can depend on many factors—ambient light, the way the sample is held, and individual eye color reflectance—we at Royal Nature wanted to take the time to use analytical studies to adjust the colors to average eye reflectance.

Caution! Before each use, ensure that the test vial or measuring spoon is washed only with RO water and dried with a soft paper towel.
Caution: Always store NO3-1 and NO3-2 reagents in a dark place (in the box) and minimize exposure to light.

The results of the Royal Nitrate Professional test kit are given in PPM.
Each kit contains 100 tests.

Only 2 steps:
1. Add 5 ml of aquarium water to the test tube using the 5 ml syringe.
2. Add 5 drops of NO3-2 into the test cuvette and swirl gently for 30 seconds.
3. Add 1 level measuring spoon of reagent NO3-1 into the test cuvette and swirl gently for 30 seconds.
4. Let stand for 5 minutes. If the colors continue to change, let stand for another 2 minutes for best results.
Hold the test cuvette next to the supplied color chart on a white part of the chart and compare the colors as seen from the side of the test cuvette. Read the corresponding nitrate level. A medium color corresponds to a medium nitrate level.

Irritates eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water and consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children!
