With Nyos® NITRATE+ and PHOSPHATE+ you can raise nitrate and phosphate levels easily, safely and quickly.

In modern reef aquariums, the correct nitrate and phosphate levels (also called nutrients) play an important role.

A lack of nitrate and phosphate first causes corals to begin to starve and stop growing. With continued deficiency, colors fade and tissue dissolves.

An imbalance between nitrate and phosphate leads to algae growth and deficiency symptoms in corals.

Experience from many coral breeders has shown that the nitrate level should be between 10-20 mg/l and the phosphate level between 0.025-0.05 mg/l. With Nyos® NITRATE+ and PHOSPHATE+ you can precisely raise these two values to the desired concentration.

1,000ml NITRATE+ contains 100,000 mg NO3.

1,000ml PHOSPHATE+ contains 1,000 mg PO4

Dosage

1ml NITRATE+ increases the nitrate level by 1 mg / l in a 100 L aquarium

1ml PHOSPHATE+ increases the phosphate level by 0.01 mg / l in a 100 L aquarium

We recommend measuring nitrate and phosphate levels at least twice a week.

Recommended NO3 value: 10-20 mg / l

Recommended PO4 value: 0.025 – 0.05 mg / l

Nyos NITRATE+ and PHOSPHATE+ can be added with a dosing pump to compensate for daily NO3 and PO4 consumption.
