Nassarius sp. – Useful bottom snail for your reef aquarium
Nassarius sp. is a small, burrowing sea snail known for its important role as a scrap eater in the substrate. It actively contributes to aquarium cleanliness by seeking out and consuming food scraps before they pollute the water.
Characteristics:

Efficient waste processor: Eats dead food remains and detritus

Active in the substrate: Burrows and aerates the sand, preventing rotting spots

Reefsafe: No danger to corals or other invertebrates

Lively & useful: Often quickly comes out of the sand to the surface when fed

Size: Usually 1–2 cm shell diameter, depending on the species
Recommended use:

Approx. 1–2 snails per 20–30 liters of aquarium volume

Requires fine to medium soil for burying

Stable water parameters recommended; do not keep with predatory snails or fish
