Gorgonie sp. brown

Characteristics:

• Species: Gorgonie sp. (various species, exact identification not always possible)

• Lighting: Many species photosynthetic (zooxanthellae), but some azooxanthellate (need additional feeding with plankton)

• Current: Medium to strong, ensures good polyp formation and nutrient supply

• Placement: Freestanding with sufficient space to allow the fan-like structure to come into its own

• Feeding: Photosynthetic species are mostly undemanding; azooxanthellate species require regular feeding of fine plankton food

• Water values: Stable conditions with good water quality
