Fauna Marin Zeo-Light is a special zeolite mixture that is ideal for nutrient reduction in saltwater aquariums.

These special zeolites provide an ideal habitat for nitrogen-reducing bacteria. The selected chemical and physical properties of our zeolites ensure rapid and effective nutrient reduction.

Directions:

To prepare the zeolite, rinse it thoroughly with tap or reverse osmosis water and store it in tap water for 24 hours. After that, it is ready to use.

The basic dosage is 1 liter of zeolite per 1,000 liters of net water volume. Calculate your water volume precisely.

Use the zeolite in a zeolite filter or in our automatic zeolite filter, Zeomatic 2. Thanks to its automatic cleaning function, this filter is particularly easy to maintain and effective.

Without an automatic filter, the cleaning interval is 2 days. 75% of the zeolite rock is replaced every 4 weeks. On these days, only change the zeolite. The carbon mixture should be changed every 14 days after the zeolite replacement.

Of course, you can also use other zeolite mixtures suitable for saltwater, but we strongly recommend that you use products from manufacturers with proven expertise in the saltwater sector, as some zeolites sold for freshwater pond filtration are unsuitable.
