ELEMENTALS TRACE V is a highly concentrated vanadium solution for saltwater aquariums to individually compensate for existing vanadium deficiencies.

The Elementals series is designed for use with regular ICP analyses. Fauna Marin ICP analyses help you maintain the perfect balance for your aquarium.

In addition to the measured values, Fauna Marin ICP analyses also provide you with all necessary dosage recommendations. In addition to salts for the major elements calcium, magnesium, and carbonate hardness, we also offer a range of special trace elements whose function is essential in saltwater aquariums. Trace elements—in contrast to major elements such as calcium, magnesium, or potassium—are elements that are present in saltwater in concentrations below 1 mg/l. These include, for example, copper, chromium, manganese, and selenium, as well as iron, iodine, and zinc.

The function of trace elements can vary greatly. The knowledge base on the Fauna Marin website provides an overview of the respective functions of each element. Trace elements can be found in many different substances and thus also enter the aquarium water. However, their deficiencies can cause significant problems, despite their low necessary concentrations in the water. An adequate supply of all important trace elements is therefore essential for a healthy reef aquarium.

Our single-element solutions consist of the purest raw materials, which are produced with the appropriate organic or inorganic compounds depending on the function of the elements. We use our coral farm and, of course, our own ICP laboratory for production and quality control.
