Nitrates and phosphates are beneficial in small amounts of 0.04-0.06 ppm in NSW. However, if they increase, problems can arise. Excessive nutrients promote algae growth and can inhibit coral growth.

Royal Nitrate Remover stimulates the natural breakdown of nitrate by bacteria. The powerful and efficient carbon-based formula keeps your corals strong and healthy while being cost-effective to maintain.

Sold in 500/1000 ml bottles.

Add 1 ml per 20 liters daily until the nitrate level is below 1 mg/l. If the nitrate level exceeds 10 mg/l, double the dose.

Unlike others who combine two liquids in one bottle, our biologists decided to separate the nitrate remover from the phosphate remover because most of our research has shown that NO3 and PO4 are removed in a different ratio and for better control it is recommended to treat NO3 and PO4 separately.
