Ultra-Slim: At just 9 mm high, the Straton X is arguably the slimmest high-performance LED aquarium light on the market. Even slimmer and lighter than its predecessors, it discreetly integrates into any aquarium concept.

Full Aluminum Design: The Straton X boasts a precisely crafted aluminum casing. This not only provides an elegant look but also ensures high stability and durability. At the same time, the aluminum allows for efficient heat dissipation – a crucial advantage for the lifespan and performance of modern LEDs. The Straton X is a true premium product made from noble materials, setting new standards in craftsmanship and design.

Noise-Free: Conventional LED lights require fans for cooling – they generate disturbing noise, increase the overall height, and wear out. The Straton X consistently dispenses with them: Modern high-power LEDs and an efficient aluminum heat sink eliminate the need for fans and their maintenance – for absolutely silent operation.

Anti-Glare: Many LED aquarium lights cause glare due to uncontrolled light dispersion – the Straton X takes a different approach. Specifically developed high-performance reflectors are used for each of the 100 LEDs, integrated flush with the light. They direct the light precisely into the aquarium and only where it is needed – for maximum efficiency and a pleasant, glare-free aquarium experience.

Next Level Performance, Measurable and Convincing

Instead of promises, we rely on facts: We have introduced meaningful and practical key figures that demonstrate the performance of the Straton X in black and white – ideal for planning the optimal light level for aquariums and coral farms or for comparisons with other LED systems on the market. The performance values are transparently traceable via the app at any time thanks to integrated PAR and current measurement.

Key figures at a glance:

• Absolute Performance - With 800 PAR at 20 cm distance, the Straton X delivers light output at the level of direct tropical sun. This is made possible by the use of the latest G3 cutting-edge technology, which achieves significantly more output compared to the previous generation.
• Average Area Performance: At a practical distance of 60 cm, the Straton X achieves an impressive 390 PAR on average over an area of 60×60 cm – and all this with a mere 150 W power consumption.
• Relative Performance: The area performance results in an excellent relative performance of 2.6 PAR/Watt. This makes the Straton X one of the most efficient LED reef lights in its class.
•  Illuminated Area and PAR Distribution:

The Straton X was designed for particularly broad and even coral illumination and PAR distribution. To present this performance transparently and practically, we have defined two key figures – each measured at a distance of 60 cm from the light, so that the middle area of the aquarium (approx. 30–40 cm below the water surface) is also covered:

• SPS 200 Area:
  A PAR value of at least 200 µmol/m²/s is considered necessary for keeping demanding SPS corals – The Straton X achieves this value up to a diameter of 85 cm, which corresponds to an area of 0.567 m².
• LPS 100 Area:
  For LPS corals or mixed tanks, a PAR value from 100 µmol/m²/s is sufficient. The Straton X delivers this value over an area with a 100 cm diameter, corresponding to 0.785 m².

These values impressively demonstrate how efficiently the Straton X enables large-area lighting for various aquarium types with only 150 W maximum power.

• PAR-to-Price Ratio: A pure watt comparison in terms of purchase price says little. What matters is how much usable light is generated per euro invested. Our tests show: The Straton X offers an outstanding PAR-to-price ratio and is right at the forefront.

Performance Conclusion: More Light. Less Consumption. Maximum Control.

The Straton X produces up to twice as much usable light as many other LED systems with the same power consumption. This means: less energy consumption, lower operating costs, and impressive light output. This saves energy, protects the environment and your wallet, and allows your corals to grow visibly.

Hybrid Reef Spectrum – Reef full spectrum with a high blue component: Conventional LED lights usually rely on daylight or blue light. The Straton X combines both: As a true reef full-spectrum light, it flexibly generates any desired light spectrum – from strong daylight to intense blue light.

For maximum efficiency, we rely on the currently most powerful high-power LEDs worldwide – selected across manufacturers to get the best out of each color channel.

Compared to previous models, the blue light has been further intensified to emphasize fluorescent coral colors. At the same time, improved white and cyan-white tones provide more basic brightness and more intense, striking coral colors.

Soft Shadow Technology - Even light for healthy corals: Classic LED lights with small, bundled light sources often create hotspots – areas with too much light in the center, while areas at the edge are too dimly lit. The Straton X deliberately uses a large base area with 100 individual light sources, which ensures even illumination across the entire aquarium. This way, corals receive light from multiple sides, which reduces self-shading and promotes healthy, even growth.

Natural Shimmer: The Straton X creates a natural play of light as in a coral reef. This is the popular ripple effect, a lively interplay of light and shadow in the water, which creates an impressively natural reef atmosphere in the aquarium.

Overdrive Mode: Another feature of the Straton X is the so-called overdrive mode. This performance feature allows individual LED channels to operate beyond the standard 100% intensity – provided other channels are simultaneously below their maximum output. This dynamic power distribution within the LED module efficiently utilizes the total available power of the light without exceeding thermal or electrical limits.

Flexible Mounting – variable suspension system: With the new modular Straton suspension system, you are maximally flexible: Whether classic rope suspension, mounting rail, or mounting arm – each solution adapts perfectly to your aquarium environment.

The highlight: The mounting arm with seamless attachment discreetly blends into the design of the light and makes the attachment virtually disappear – for a tidy, elegant look above the tank.
