Premium Marine Salt for SPS and LPS Corals
Fully synthetic marine salt developed for corals in aquaculture.
This formula was designed to create the best conditions for marine animals. The micro and macronutrients in Aquaforest Reef Salt fulfill the demand of corals for proper growth and pigmentation. After dissolving the salt, you can use your freshly prepared marine water immediately.
The salt mix is enriched with amino acids and vitamin C. The addition of vitamin C promotes growth and has positive effects on the general health of all aquarium inhabitants.
Easy Preparation and Instant Use of Freshly Prepared Marine Water
Preparation: Dissolve the salt in previously prepared demineralized water.
The water temperature should be around 24°C (75°F).
For a salinity of 33 ppt (1.025 S.G.), dissolve approximately 390 g (13.75 oz.) in 10 l (2.7 US gal) of water.
Stir the solution vigorously for about 15 minutes.
Once the salt is fully dissolved and the solution is clear, the saltwater is ready for use.
Store the salt in a dry and dark place.
Use the salt within 5 days once it has been dissolved.
Evaporation can change the water parameters, so store freshly mixed saltwater in a sealed container if not used immediately.
You should recheck the salinity of your saltwater before use if storing it for a few days.
This product is for aquarium use only.
Not suitable for human consumption.
Keep away from children.

Thorough Testing and Quality Control of Our Marine Salt Range
Good to know: Aquaforest products are manufactured in the EU under strict laboratory supervision to meet the highest quality standards.
Each product is created from carefully selected raw components in quantities proven to yield a consistent composition.
How is Our Marine Salt Product Range Tested?
We mix our marine salt in 1-ton (2204 lb) batches and take 3 separate samples per batch for testing during the production phase.
Each of these samples is dissolved in 15 liters (4 US gal) of RO water.
Our experienced team of professionals performs an ICP-OES analysis to verify that the chemical composition is within a consistent range, while also excluding the presence of undesirable contaminants.
Note: While our salt is carefully blended, not every bucket/container is identical.
Parameters may vary slightly between containers, with a deviation of about 2-3% being acceptable.
These fluctuations are due to both the physical properties of the blend and the limits of available processing techniques.
These fluctuations are still smaller than the typical margin of error for common hobbyist test kits.
